- No previous knowledge or experience needed to attend one of our workshops.
- Receive 15% discount off all regular priced items you purchase on the day of the workshop.
- One group can book out an entire workshop, in which case they can change it to any technique or project we offer.
- Materials and tools are provided, some workshops may require additional materials that can be purchased in store on the day of the workshop.
- Workshops are designed for ages 12 years and older. We can make exceptions provided the young person has some beading skills and an adult to accompany them (payment of two spots required).
THE FINE PRINT:
- Payment can be done In-store or by the phone.
- A deposit of half the workshop price is required to be considered “registered” for a workshop. The remaining half payment is required on arrival on the day of the workshop.
- Workshop deposits are not refundable.
- To reschedule a workshop you must let us know 48 hours/2 full days before the day of the workshop.
(1 Time Reschedule Only) the initial deposit will be put towards the rescheduled workshop.
Mala Knotting
Workshop Description
Learn the traditional method of knotting for a soft, fluid and more secure piece of jewellery. Using semi-precious stones, wooden beads and knotting cord you will create a beautiful mala-style necklace. This technique can be used for knotting pearls as well.
*Note: The workshop time allows for learning how to knot, and how to finish your necklace. Since a traditional mala is 108 beads, it is unlikely that your project will be completed in the class time. However, you are welcome to stay at our table during store hours to work on your project.

Fringe Earrings
Create elegant beaded fringe earrings using glass delica beads and nylon thread. Learn about patterns and endless colour combinations. Please note that due to the detail of the technique only one earring can be made during workshop, however, you will be given all the materials to make two. You are welcome to stay at our table and continue working during store hours.

Leather Wrap Bracelet
Workshop Description
This is a stunning look! Create the popular wrap bracelet style with and a button closure using a beading loom. Class time and materials allow for a 1 wrap bracelet but you are welcome to stay longer if you want multiple wraps. Leave with a beautiful bracelet, the loom and the inspiration to create more!

Beginners Beading
Want to make your own jewellery? This is the place to start! We cover all the basics including tools, stringing material, findings and how to put it all together. In this class, you will leave with a completed 3 strand bracelet incorporating multiple techniques as well as confidence & inspiration for future creations.

Peyote Ring
Using our extensive selection of beautiful Japanese Miyuki Delica’s, learn to weave these beads using the peyote stitch. We will discuss the use of grids, colours and bead finishes and how they can contribute in adding a personal touch to your design. As well as the many options for this versatile stitch. Experiment for yourself and finish with a personalized banded ring.

Stone Wrapping
Do you have stones with no holes? Want a way to incorporate found stones into your jewellery? This is the workshop for you! We will focus on using wire to create a clean, secure and stylish look. During this workshop you will have the opportunity to make 2 pendants with 2 different techniques using the stones provided. Leave with the knowledge and ability to make more! Feel free to bring in your own piece and brainstorm design options after the workshop.

Macrame Bracelet
Learn the art of macrame knotting. This is a great summer look whether your style is shiny crystal, rustic metals or natural wood + semi-precious stones. Using just cord and beads you will create your own macrame bracelet with a sliding knot closure. These timeless knotting techniques are easily adapted to numerous projects other than jewellery such as wall hangings and plant hangers!

Wire Work Earrings
Working with wire is one of the most useful skills to develop for all jewellery making. In this hands-on workshop, you will use semi-precious stones and precious metal wire for your creation. Learn about various wire gauges and experiment with manipulating them into clean loops, shapes and wraps. Finish with a gorgeous pair of earrings, you proudly made yourself!

Wire Wrapping
In this workshop, you will learn the intricacy of wrapping with wire for both top-drilled & center-drilled beads. This is utilized for both style and necessity, which is essential as the most secure way to attach your high-end stones. Work with our selection of semi-precious stones & fresh water pearls to make these drops into stunning earrings or dangle them from a bracelet for an elegant look.

This class is all about earrings. Covering the basics on different types of earwires using eyepins and headpins to make beautiful layered earrings and leave with a gorgeous ready-to-wear pair!

Square Stitch
Workshop Description
Learn to weave beautiful glass Miyuki delica beads using square stitch. This technique is highly adaptable and can be used to make earrings, fun shapes, bracelets, and more.
