Use an Awl to assist with:

• Tying knots on materials such as silk, nylon and waxed linen.
• Expanding loops or holes in charms to accommodate jumprings, chain or cord.
• Poking/crating holes in leather or backing material for needles.

This is a very strong awl perfect for leather. The end graduates from a smaller to a larger diameter to help create a hole in thick material such as leather.
